The Ultimate Midwest Mod Giveaway – Official Rules

1. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding New York, Florida, and Rhode Island), the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec), aged 13 or older (with parental/legal guardian consent for minors). Void where prohibited. Entrants must not be convicted felons or otherwise ineligible. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Promotion Administrator.

2. Minors

If under the legal age in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree to these Official Rules and sign any required documentation. If selected to win, the prize may be awarded in the guardian’s name.

3. Promotion Period

The giveaway begins at 7:00 p.m. Central Time (CT) on September 5, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on December 31, 2025.

4. How to Enter

a. Purchase Entry: During the Promotion Period, eevey $5 spent on the Backcountry Village website earns one (1) entry into the giveaway. Tax and shipping excluded.

b. Mail-in Entry (No Purchase Necessary): To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and birth date on a 4” x 6” postcard (no outer envelope), and mail it to:

Each valid postcard counts as one (1) entry. All mail-in entries must be postmarked during the Promotion Period and received by January 7, 2026. Limit five (5) postcards per person/email/household.

5. Entry Limits

Maximum of one hundred (1000) total entries per person/email/household, regardless of entry method.

6. Finalist Drawing

On or about December 31, 2025, the Promotion Administrator will randomly select ten (10) finalists from all eligible entries received.

7. Prize Drawing

On or about January 7, 2026, one (1) grand prize winner will be selected at random from among the ten (10) finalists. The drawing may take place live or at a promotional venue, as determined by Backcountry Village.

8. Prize Details

Grand Prize: One (1) custom-built 2024 Polaris RMK Khaos 146 9R snowmobile. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $15,000 USD. No substitution, cash redemption, or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

9. Prize Conditions

Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any title, licensing, insurance, registration, shipping, or other fees associated with the prize. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee by Sponsor.

10. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

11. Winner Verification

Potential winner(s) must complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, tax forms, and other required documents. Failure to comply within the timeframe may result in disqualification.

12. Additional Requirements for Canadian Residents

To be declared a winner, Canadian residents must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance.

13. Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

14. Notification & Publicity

Winners will be notified by email, phone, or mail. By accepting a prize, winners grant Backcountry Village the right to use their name, likeness, and city/state for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, Promotion Administrator, and their affiliates from any and all liability arising from participation or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for technical errors or failures of any kind.

16. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering this giveaway and in accordance with the Backcountry Village Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this giveaway will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Santa Clara County, California.

18. Severability

If any provision of these rules is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
